BP

Technics dleivered a Corrosion Sensor Test Assembly to BP's Research Gorup. Theunit will provide a platform for their new advanced corrosion sensor. The unit reciruclates crude oil at varaible rates to 250 GPM while maintaining an adjustable tempertaure to 550 F. The temperature maintains the injected napthenic acid at near its vapor point where it is ost corrosive.

Honeywell Aerospace

Technics supplied a fully integrated mobile platform for liquid cooling thermal management. The machinery supports development work for hybrid powertrains as part of the Army FCS program. This particular machine includes an integrated refrigeration system providing 10 kW of cooling.

BAE Systems

Technics supplied a number of mobile liquid cooling thermal management systems to this global defense contractor in further support of the Army's FCS Hybrid powertrain development program. Cooling systems range form 5 KW for battery packs to 250kW

Scientific Applications International

Technics supplied a conditioned fuel consumption measurement system to this defense research consortium. The system utilized Technics' Baseline Series controller to provide wide ranging fuel selections at various temperatures and pressures while precisely measuring engine consumption

Invensys Controls

Technics, Inc. supplied its Baseline Series controller in valve configuration to Invensys Control Systems. The integrated test stands performs an endurance tests on gas valves at pressures as low as 5" WC.

Siemens VDO

The pressure test stand supplied to this tier 1 supplier not only provided a ramp and hold profile but includes imparting 70 psi within 30 milliseconds to the part in order to satisfy criteria for crash events.

Ford Motor Company

Technics supplied its Universal Filter Test System from Ford Motor Company, the world's number 2 auto maker. The modular system is capable of performing a multitude of tests on filters and strainers including flow/pressure performance as well as single and multi-pass efficiency testing. The system is capable performing high vacuum to 300-psi tests at flow rates to 10 GPM. In addition to particle counting the temperature controlled system unit can derive air entrainment data.

Magnetti Marelli Powertrain

Technics has provided a systems upgrade to the fuel injection test bench to Magneti Marelli powertrain. A global supplier of fuel systems for ground vehicles, the upgraded bench provides performance documentation for its North American operations.

Modine Manufacturing

Technics, Inc. has received an order from Modine Manufacturing for a High Volume Coolant System to support their North American Technical Center. Modine is the world's largest supplier of heat transfer technology to the automotive industries. The skid-mounted unit provides a coolant supply up to 600 GPM to a series of Radiator Test Cells under a varying thermal load. Loading can be up to 3 MBTU/HR while maintaining temperatures within 2 °

General Motors, North America

Technics provided specialty mobile refueling systems in Michigan, Colorado, California, and Mexico City providing temperature and flow controlled fuel delivery to vehicles under performance and environmental tests. The computer controlled fuel conditioning units were provided with options to meet the needs of each facility from control only to reporting and analysis software.

Kia, Korea

Our Korean Partners assisted us in providing delivery of several of Technics' computer controlled, fuel conditioning carts used by OEM’s and Tier 1 suppliers for validation of environmental compliance and fill performance testing

Tempel Steel, North America

This manufacturer of stamped components required a high volume storage and transfer system to feed flammable stamping lubricants to a bank of high-speed presses. We built several highly reliable fully automatic systems for production level transfers, in the U.S. and Monterrey, Mexico.

U.S. Government

The US Environmental Protection Agency required a new standard for precision fuel measurement for its principal engine test facility. Technics supplied its EST 1565 conditioned fuel measurement system. Three identical units were supplied. The design is intended to become a standard for EPA fuel consumption measurement equipment.

Eaton

The automotive component supplier required a fuel storage and delivery system to provide fuels with a range of RVP characteristics. Technics designed and built a computer controlled fuel storage, blending, and dispensing system. The fuel storage system has the ability to be continuously cooled to prevent the vaporization of fuel components. This capability maintains the fuel within specifications and eliminates the cost and delay of non-spec fuel.

Mark IV Automotive

The manufacturer of fuel system components required an automated test facility to perform the SAE J1737 permeation test for automotive fuel hoses. Technics supplied its model ETSAE 6800, an integrated mechanical and SCADA package to perform the long-term tests. Proper validation over the 5000-hour test requires that there be no variation in temperature, flow, and pressure of both fuel and nitrogen across the entire assembly.

Eagle Picher Automotive

The manufacturer of fuel system components required an automated test facility to perform the SAE J1737 permeation test for automotive fuel hoses. The test procedures were specified by their customer specifications and SAE standards. Proper validation requires that there be no variation in temperature, flow, and pressure of both fuel and nitrogen across the entire assembly. Technics designed a pre-packaged fuel lab within a portable fire rated building. The lab building was furnished complete with hazardous area electrical service, heating, ventilation, lighting, and fire suppression systems. The prefabrication saved a considerable cost of a new addition or extensive renovations to existing buildings to accommodate the hazardous testing environment. Technics provided all test fixtures, instrumentation, PLC hardware and programming. The software systems included the ability to operate the tests and to collect, analyze, and display test data.

Walbro Automotive

The manufacturer of automotive fuel system components required a specialized vapor recovery system for testing on board fuel system components. Technics designed and built a variable ratio vapor recovery system. The system performs a vapor recovery function by reading a liquid fuel meter and providing a vapor recovery flow according to the selected ratio. Data from the system is transferred to the testing lab PC for collection and analysis.
